Fields Of Gold was written by Sting and first appeared on his solo album Ten Summoner’s Tales in 1993. This lesson looks at how Eva Cassidy arranged it for guitar to accompany herself singing. It is done with a capo at the 7th fret using an arpeggio fingerpicking style in the key of D, starting on a Bm chord. Eva managed to make a few recordings before she tragically passed away at the age of 33, a few years before receiving any major recognition for her talents and incredibly beautiful voice.
