Paul Simon later wrote more lyrics and polished the few that he had before they included it on their 4th album, Bookends. This lesson starts with a Campfire Version, then adds the main riff ,a fill and some passing bass notes, before finishing up with a flashy instrumental flatpicking arrangement of the intro. Pachelbel was a German musician who predated JS Bach by a generation in the mid-late Baroque period. A canon is one of the most strict and complex forms of composition that exists, requiring the composer to construct a melody that can be played in multiple voices and blend with each other where each voice is following each other, playing the exact same melody. Eva managed to make a few recordings before she tragically passed away at the age of 33, a few years before receiving any major recognition for her talents and incredibly beautiful voice.
